Meet Our Co-Founder, Rhea - Mom, Singer, Entrepreneur, and Resident Dye Expert

An extraordinary creative spirit, Rhea has navigated her professional life through a continuous process of self-reinvention. Following a six-year stint as a backup singer for Pharrell Williams, she embraced motherhood, welcoming her eldest daughter, Arrow, into the world.

Craving a creative outlet after Arrow's birth, Rhea ventured into the realm of textile art. This journey began with a simple YouTube tutorial on tie-dye basics, igniting a passion that would continue to blaze brightly. In 2020, she channeled her entrepreneurial prowess into establishing Arrow & Avalon, a loungewear company celebrated for its exquisite hand-dyed pieces. Each design unveiled a fascinating facet of hand-dyeing - it wasn't merely about the final product, but a voyage of form, flow, and surprise, reminiscent of Rhea’s past experiences with painting.

Three years after the inception of Arrow & Avalon, Rhea broadened her horizons, extending her hand-dyed artistry to a range of home goods at Prairie Fever - from quilts and pillows to kitchen textiles and hand-woven rugs. She harmoniously melds her artistic intentions with the unique traits of each textile, resulting in a luxurious collection that mirrors the transient beauty of sunrises and sunsets in its color palette.

Thanks to Rhea's distinct techniques, every item is an unparalleled work of art, enriched with a captivating spectrum of colors - a testament to textile alchemy that brings nature's finest displays into your home.

Currently, Rhea is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her next remarkable creation - her second daughter, Journey.
